Trevor Barton

Trevor is the managing partner for Quality, Risk & Regulatory at Deloitte & Touche LLP with more than 35 years of experience serving a variety of domestic and global clients. In his role he leads the business’ Professional Practice Network spanning accounting, auditing, risk management, and regulatory functions.

Trevor provides strategic oversight of quality across the A&A business and leads a team of more than 400 partners and professionals responsible for business policies and methodology related to accounting, financial reporting, auditing, risk, and regulatory compliance; engagement with federal regulators, standard setters, and other stakeholders; and helping to address quality matters. He routinely works with clients on their most complex accounting, reporting, and auditing matters. He has served a wide variety of domestic and multinational public clients within the energy, transportation, consumer products, manufacturing, and technology industries.

Trevor serves on the US Deloitte Board of Directors, is a member of Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and is a member of the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (DTTL) Global Audit & Assurance Quality, Risk & Regulatory Executive.

Trevor earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Dakota. He is a CPA, and a member of the AICPA and the Nebraska Society of CPAs.
