Tony Johnson is a Principal in Deloitte Consulting's U.S. insurance practice with more than 25 years of experience helping insurers transform and modernize their finance and actuarial functions.
As part of Deloitte's Finance Transformation and Actuarial Modernization offering, he works with insurance organizations to redesign operating models, improve processes, and implement innovative approaches that enable finance and actuarial teams to operate more strategically and efficiently. He also leads Deloitte Consulting's insurance outsourcing practice, Deloitte’s Managed Actuarial Services offering, as well as serves as the actuarial lead for several audits of Deloitte’s insurance client portfolio.
In these roles, Tony helps insurers enhance service delivery through scalable operating models, actuarial modernization, application management, and business process enablement. He advises clients on transformation initiatives that strengthen operational performance, improve agility, and position finance and actuarial functions to better support enterprise decision-making. Tony is a frequent author and speaker on actuarial modernization, finance transformation, and broader operating model design.
