Suzy O'Mara

Suzy O’Mara is an Audit & Assurance partner based in New York City with over 24 years of experience serving complex, multinational clients. She has gained strong experience across a variety of industry sectors, most notably in consumer products and retail, as well as transportation, hospitality, and services.

In addition to her client service roles, Suzy is a recognized leader within Deloitte. She is currently the National Audit & Assurance Industry Sector Leader for Transportation, Hospitality, & Services (THS). Previously, she led the consumer audit practice for the Greater Tri-State region and was the deployment leader for the New York City commercial audit practice. Additionally, she formerly was the Sustainability, Climate, and Equity leader for audit and attestation services within THS, and has published articles on how to drive accountable sustainability in the consumer industry. Through her leadership roles, she has developed an extensive network of global and domestic leaders she can call on as needed throughout the full breadth of our organization. She also has led and participated in numerous other eminence activities within the consumer industry, including speaking engagements, client roundtables and symposiums.

Suzy has deep technical accounting experience and a strong understanding of consumer industry regulatory matters, with the ability to address and resolve complex matters in an appropriate and timely manner. She understands the importance of clear, effective, and proactive communication and has honed these skills extensively through both her client service and Deloitte leadership roles.
