Srini Subramanian

Srini is a principal in the US Government and Public Services (GPS) practice. Srini serves as the GPS Industry Leader for Deloitte Global Consulting Services. He also leads the State, Local, and Higher Education (SLHE) Northeast Sector for the US GPS practice.

Srini has more than 37 years of technology experience and more than 27 years of cyber risk services experience in the areas of digital transformation, technology strategy, innovation, digital identity, and cyber detect & respond services. He has delivered several GPS client engagements in the digital transformation, cloud, identity and access management, technology transformation, technology shared services, and innovation domains.

Srini previously led the SLHE sector for the Risk and Financial Advisory (RFA) practice in GPS and served as the lead client services partner for the State of Connecticut account. He has received several Deloitte distinctions, including recognition as a Deloitte Eminence Fellow, a Deloitte CIO Fellow, and an Industry Sector Luminary.  

Cyber Leadership

As a cyber principal practicing in GPS, Srini is committed to improving cyber risk management of our government and society. In his global GPS Consulting services leader role, Srini connects technology and cyber specialists, clients, and the eco-system of stakeholders to promote sharing of the leading cyber practices in government.

Srini is the co-author of the biennial Deloitte - NASCIO Cybersecurity Study publication with the National Association of State CIOs (NASCIO) since its inception in 2010. Srini has delivered several presentations on digital, cyber and digital identity management topics at public sector conferences. Srini is a member of the National Governors Association (NGA) Policy Council for State Cybersecurity which helps shape the cybersecurity policy recommendations for the state governors and has played a significant role in elevating the importance of cyber with the state and federal government policy makers.
