He helps organizational leaders and their teams turn identity complexity into measurable business results—reduced risk, audit-ready controls, faster onboarding/offboarding, and frictionless access for faculty, staff, students, researchers, and third parties.
Subhasish is especially passionate about the Higher Education sector, where mission, research, privacy, and open collaboration must coexist. At Deloitte, he has served as an engagement leader for university clients delivering IAM assessments and implementations, including digital identity managed services, PAM deployments, and next-generation access management programs across multiple Public R1 and large private universities.
Subhasish’s Higher Education leadership is grounded in “operator” experience. As Associate Director, IAM at the University of Utah and University of Utah Health, he led the development and execution of the university’s IAM program strategy, budgets, metrics, and cross-campus delivery—partnering with executives and business owners to establish requirements, manage risk, and oversee vendor relationships. His program work included enterprise two-factor authentication, access certifications across high-risk applications, role-based governance, directory consolidation, and web access management/federation—building durable controls without slowing down teaching, research, or patient care.
A distinguishing hallmark of Subhasish’s leadership is his public-facing contribution to the identity community. His work includes participation in an NSF-funded research project (“FeduShare”) bridging campus and research IAM, along with presentations and panel participation at venues such as Internet2 Technology Exchange, SailPoint Navigate, and industry roundtables focused on identity strategy and best practices.
