A native Texan, he studied applied mathematics and statistics at Rice University in Houston, where he was also a member of the student-athlete advisory board. He is a voting member of the Television Academy, serves on the board of the Long Island School for the Gifted, and is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, championing growth and representation across all levels of the industry.
