Rob Meier is a managing director at Deloitte & Touche LLP in the Securitization market offering and leads the Capital Markets’ Term Transactions team. He oversees the business’s operations and strategic growth, leading teams that serve clients across the securitization transaction lifecycle through agreed-upon procedures engagements focused on due diligence reviews, analytics, and compliance-related services for public and private term transactions.
With more than 25 years at Deloitte, Rob has focused on the financial services industry, advising issuers across asset-backed, residential mortgage-backed, and commercial mortgage-backed securities. His experience spans a broad range of securitization services, including agreed-upon procedures related asset-level due diligence, collateral verification, and post-closing and warehouse compliance.
Rob is known for bringing quality, technical depth, and practical market experience across asset classes. He has deep knowledge of underwriting, origination, servicing, and lending practices. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and holds active CPA licenses in New York and New Jersey. Rob earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rider University.
