Michael Ruiz has over 20 years’ experience delivering Risk Management, Regulatory, and Compliance engagements across the financial services industry. He assists insurance clients with assessing and implementing frameworks and operating models across the Three Lines of Defense – including business operations, risk and compliance, and internal audit.
Michael has led large-scale client projects focused on developing Enterprise Risk Management framework components, including risk governance structures, risk taxonomies and identification processes for priority and emerging risks, risk assessment analyses, and risk reporting dashboards. He has also supported P&C and L&A insurance clients with the development and enhancement of regulatory filings focused on risk and capital management, such as Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) processes and annual filings.
