Michelle McGuire serves as the Chief Data & AI Officer (CDAIO) for the Deloitte US Olympic and Paralympic Partnership. In this role, Michelle is responsible for the strategy and development of AI & Data solutions across the Olympic Movement to transform the games with a goal of making them more scalable and accessible through the reduction of operational complexity, optimization of costs and maximizing engagement for fans, volunteers, employees, media rights holders and sponsors.
Michelle partners with fellow sponsors to drive value by convening the ecosystem to drive value through data collaboration, an AI Council and the development of integrated solutions that drive revenue and new opportunities for both TOP and local Sponsors of both the Winter and Summer Games.
Michelle also works with Nation organizing committees (NOCs), International Federations of Sport (IFs) and future Organizing Committees (OCOGs) to leverage AI to drive athlete performance optimization, establish frameworks for the use of AI judging technology and find new ways to drive loyalty amongst their diverse fan bases. Using AI, Michelle helps these organizations to transform sport and the way in which they think about the next generation of athlete performance, revenue generation and fan engagement.
Michelle is an advocate for women in both technology and sports including being a supporter of women’s sports through Deloitte’s commitment to the Athena Pledge to help build gender equity in Sport. Michelle has a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Ga Tech). She lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband Doug, her three children and four rescue, special needs Belgian Malinois’.
