Kevin Matthews is a Managing Director at Deloitte Consulting and leads California Energy, Environment, Resilience & Infrastructure and U.S. Natural Resources & Environmental Management. With over 20 years of experience advising public agencies and utilities, Kevin works at the intersection of strategy, technology, and policy to help clients navigate some of the most complex environmental and infrastructure challenges in the country.
Kevin has deep expertise in water system modernization and risk management, supporting California's largest water agencies in building more resilient and adaptive operations. His broader work spans permitting reform, climate resilience, and the energy transition. He also leads Deloitte's U.S. Nature Services public sector practice.
Kevin holds an MBA from The Wharton School and dual bachelor's degrees from Santa Clara University.
