Kevin J Urbanowicz

Kevin is the consulting leader for Cyber Security Operations, part of the Cyber Defense & Resilience offering. He brings over twenty years of experience in cyber security and focuses on helping his clients transform and innovate to next-generation cyber defense capabilities across their Security Operations Center (SOC).  He combines both business and technology experience to create risk-based programs while building stakeholder consensus.  Kevin helps his clients optimize for business value and lower total cost of ownership, while still delivering effective cyber security outcomes.

Kevin’s portfolio includes SOC strategy, SIEM engineering, Detection Engineering, and Data Lake / AI / Analytics engineering.  His team designs, builds, and operates some of the largest and most complex security operations service across industries globally, putting Deloitte in a unique position as the market leader in this space. 

As the market offering leader, Kevin has been responsible for creating the strategy, processes, frameworks, use case libraries, and accelerators that enable our clients to build next-generation SOCs, faster.  He has spoken at numerous industry conferences on the topics of next generation SIEM, cyber analytics, and cyber resilience.
