Kate Wiese

Kate Wiese is an Audit & Assurance (A&A) Managing Director and serves as the US A&A Sustainability offering leader for the Energy, Resources, & Industrials (ER&I) industry. Leveraging her deep background in auditing and reporting, Kate advises companies in preparing voluntary and mandatory sustainability reporting. She applies core principles of internal controls and business processes to the evolving landscape of sustainability reporting. As a specialist in sustainability regulatory readiness, she has extensive experience across materiality assessments, sustainability data and internal controls, and readiness reviews. Kate regularly advises organizations on navigating complex global regulatory frameworks, including evaluating data, strengthening reporting processes and controls, and preparing for regulated disclosures. Kate is a CPA licensed in North Carolina and holds the IFRS Foundation’s Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting credential.
