Karan is a managing director in Deloitte’s Cyber practice focused on serving Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) clients at the intersection of cybersecurity, compliance, and AI-based automation. With more than 20 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity across multiple domains, he guides global organizations through the evolving landscapes of cybersecurity strategy and governance, third party risk management, and data security and privacy. As a trusted advisor to client executives, he is recognized for his ability to redefine governance frameworks, operationalize largescale cyber programs, and architect technical solutions that drive leading practices and regulatory compliance.

Karan leads Deloitte’s Cyber Operate offering for TMT clients and helps clients design, implement, and operate around some of the biggest issues related to Vulnerability Management programs, Detect & Respond (D&R) capabilities, security program management, security architecture design and reviews, security policies and framework development, and more. He is based in Dallas, TX and is passionate about serving communities and helping to build tech and security skills in young kids.
