Johan has 20 years of professional experience within the banking and financial services industry. He has worked for large multinational institutions offering services from consumer and wealth management to investment banking products. He has helped to rebuild the second-line oversight function for global banking organizations including retail, commercial, and investment banking.
Johan has experience running quantitative analytics teams responsible for model development work across assets and liabilities. Recently, he led the integration of the treasury risk functional responsibilities across two global banks, successfully delivering a response package closing one bank’s regulatory deficiencies within a year. Within this work he led the development of risk governance frameworks for multinational financial institutions, driving alignment with global regulatory expectations and industry standards.
He has a BS in economics and an MBA in technology management from Westminster University.
