Jamie McCall

Jamie McCall leads research that gives executives and boards an evidence base for strengthening organizational effectiveness, improving governance, and navigating complex challenges. As a member of the Activated Insights leadership team within Deloitte’s Greenhouse, he oversees a research program on how C-suite and board perspectives have aligned and diverged over time.

Jamie advances Deloitte’s Enterprise Solutions purpose strategy through research on social entrepreneurship and the role of Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs). Previously, he led studies on governance and oversight at Deloitte’s Center for Board Effectiveness.

Before joining Deloitte, Jamie served as a research executive at a CDFI and led data analysis for a state-supported economic development nonprofit. He also lectured on public sector institutions in the Master of Public Administration program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Jamie holds a Master of Public Administration from the UNC School of Government. His peer-reviewed research on social capital, community economic development, and impact measurement has appeared in Community Development, Economic Development Quarterly, Journal of Public Affairs, Public Administration Review, and Social Science Quarterly.
