Greg Sobreiro

Greg is an Audit & Assurance Managing Director and leads the U.S. Securitization Market Offering within Deloitte & Touche LLP. He has over 24 years of experience in the financial services industry focused on services related to the issuance of various asset-backed, residential mortgage-backed and commercial mortgage-backed securities. He is responsible for the overall operations of the Securitization Market Offering and is focused on driving strategic growth within our capital markets group.

Greg serves a deep client portfolio, from growing fintech companies to major investment banks, and provides attestation services as they work to bring their securitizations to market. Greg has significant experience on various types of Asset-Backed Securities (ABS)/ Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) products and has spent much of his career focused on autos, equipment, consumer loans, renewable energy, data centers, railcars and other esoteric assets. In addition to his Securitization leadership role, Greg frequently collaborates with audit teams across the organization, focusing on strategic opportunities, assisting them with navigating through regulatory changes and leading a team of professionals that provide guidance for Reg AB attestation engagements.

Greg is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and holds an active CPA license for the states of New York and New Jersey. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The College of New Jersey.
