George is a partner and member of the executive leadership team within Deloitte & Touche LLP, and serves as the chief operating officer (COO) of the Audit & Assurance business. He is a trusted leader known for advising complex, multi-stakeholder organizations across a variety of industry sectors on ways to navigate transformation, regulatory dynamics, and a multitude of accounting, reporting, and capital markets transactions.
Through deep client experience in banking, utilities, construction, technology, media & telecommunications (TMT), and manufacturing, George has built enduring professional relationships by providing strategic insights, operational solutions, and access to Deloitte’s capabilities. His prior leadership roles—including Audit & Assurance chief strategy officer, deputy professional practice director within the national power and utilities sector, and as a member of Deloitte & Touche LLP’s national office Accounting & Reporting Services group—reflect an ability to help shape strategy, drive operational excellence, and foster collaboration.
George serves on the board of The Orthopedic Foundation (formerly the New Albany Surgical Hospital Foundation) and is an active member of the Notre Dame Club of Columbus. He earned a Bachelors in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accountancy degrees from the University of Notre Dame. He is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of CPAs.
