With over 30 years of professional experience, including over 25 years in M&A, Garrett has deep knowledge in assisting strategic buyers and private equity investors in the execution of complex transactions.

Additionally, Garrett contributes to Deloitte’s Center for Board Effectiveness leadership team, where he helps empower both experienced and aspiring board members in aspects of board service, including focus areas such as governance, audit, strategy, risk, crisis management, innovation, technology, and succession. He is also a frequent speaker on governance and board readiness.

Garrett previously served as the managing partner for Deloitte’s Silicon Valley practice and as the regional managing partner for Deloitte’s west region, providing leadership and oversight across Deloitte’s businesses.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Garrett is actively engaged in business and non-profit communities.
