Ethan is the Deloitte Tax LLP Washington National Tax leader for Corporate alternative minimum tax (CAMT) and the stock repurchase excise tax.
Ethan is a Principal in Deloitte Tax LLP’s Washington National Tax practice, focusing on corporate tax, with over 22 years of experience in transactional tax. He has been with Deloitte for over 6 years and previously was a partner at a global law firm. Ethan has extensive experience with domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and spin-offs and has advised clients on various transaction structures. He advises multinational clients and PE firms on pre- and post-transaction restructurings and internal restructurings, and he also advises financial services industry clients and PE firms on structuring funds and investments.
Ethan’s experience further includes a focus on debt and equity investments, including preferred stock, convertible debt, and investment units. Ethan received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in Psychology from Tufts University, received a Juris Doctorate from George Washington University Law School, and received a Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.
