Danielle Gewurz

Danielle is a technical expert on AI, understanding the underlying algorithms and turning academic literature into viable, scalable production solutions that drive mission impact in the GPS space. She leads generative AI work that has tackled a variety of challenges, including automating writing of requirements, analyzing impact of policy changes and building highly accurate and performant RAG chat tools. She has also driven sophisticated AI/ML work to tackle challenging problems such as identifying unknown anomalies, preventing fraud and identity theft, using computer vision to detect forgeries, and detecting noncompliance and payment error. Gewurz has worked with both structured and unstructured data including text and images, and has presented novel algorithms in conferences and white papers, and excels in communicating complex technical concepts to all levels of sophistication.
