Deron is the US Sales Excellence Leader at Deloitte, where he leads the firm’s overall sales excellence strategy and services, enabling teams to make informed tactical and analytical decisions that drive client outcomes and business growth.
Deron is a principal in Deloitte Consulting LLP. Previously, he served as Deloitte’s US Financial Services Industry Leader, where he set Deloitte’s industry strategy and unified capabilities to serve Deloitte’s financial services client portfolio. With more than 20 years at Deloitte, he has advised domestic and international banking clients on a wide range of strategic initiatives, including channel strategy, operating model design, M&A operational integration, loan origination and servicing system implementations, credit underwriting process design, regulatory and compliance remediation, and organizational design.
Earlier in his career, Deron served as a Deloitte vice chair and led the firm’s US Banking and Capital Markets practice before assuming his most recent leadership roles. A proud North Carolinian, he holds a B.A. in Economics from Wake Forest University and an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
