Derek Snaidauf

Derek Snaidauf is a Partner/Principal with Deloitte and a recognized leader in artificial intelligence, operational excellence, and risk management. He serves as Deloitte’s Operational Excellence Market Offering Leader and helps lead the Firm’s Intelligent Product & Asset Solutions business, AI Risk Management & Governance services, and AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI services across industries. He also holds senior leadership roles in Deloitte’s Applied AI Strategic Growth Offering, Trustworthy AI, and Regulatory, Risk & Forensics practices. With more than 25 years in management consulting and professional services, he advises clients globally on strategy, governance, process improvement, and digital and technology transformation. He is widely published and frequently speaks on AI and related topics. He specializes in helping organizations proactively detect and prevent significant risk events, including product quality and safety issues, warranty waste, supply chain disruption, and asset and equipment failures. His honors include two Association of Management Consulting Firms Value and Excellence Awards and the IBA Analytics Leadership Award from the Kelley School of Business. Prior to joining Deloitte, he held senior leadership roles at IBM and PwC, and he graduated from Northwestern University, where he was an Evans Scholar.
