Dan has over 24 years of public accounting experience serving complex global public and private companies in the technology industry. He has served as the lead audit partner on a variety of technology clients.
Dan previously served as Deloitte's technology leader for the Central Region audit practice and is a member of Deloitte’s National Technology Council. He has extensive experience serving software, Fintech, software-as-a-service, and e-commerce companies. Dan also spent two years in Deloitte’s National Office Accounting Consultation Group focusing on revenue recognition, financial instruments, and other complex accounting matters.
Because of Dan’s diverse experience, he has gained deep expertise in areas such as revenue recognition, internal controls, SEC reporting matters, international compliance, capitalization of software costs, equity/debt offerings, tax accounting, business combinations and dispositions, hedge accounting, and goodwill and other long-lived asset impairment testing.
