Chris Stanoch

Chris Stanoch is a Managing Director in Deloitte's Cyber Risk practice, bringing more than 20 years of experience helping organizations strengthen cybersecurity, privacy, technology risk, and operational resilience programs across the Life Sciences, Financial Services, and Retail sectors.

He specializes in leading large-scale cyber transformation initiatives that align security strategies with business objectives. He has extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide cybersecurity programs, including identity and access management, privileged access management, data protection, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and security operations.

Throughout his career, he has led complex, multi-year transformation programs for global organizations, helping clients enhance cyber resilience, improve governance, and manage emerging risks across highly regulated environments. His experience includes developing and deploying operational technology (OT) governance frameworks across more than 100 global locations, conducting enterprise-wide cybersecurity maturity assessments, and overseeing comprehensive security reviews that include penetration testing, wireless security assessments, and physical site security evaluations.

He has also helped organizations establish proactive security monitoring and measurement capabilities through the development of executive-level performance dashboards, enabling leadership to track key risk indicators and operational metrics across cybersecurity, technology operations, talent, and finance functions.

A recognized leader in the cybersecurity community, he is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP). He serves as President of the New Jersey chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), contributing to the advancement of cybersecurity practices and professional development within the industry.

His focus is on helping organizations build sustainable cyber resilience through practical risk management, modern security architectures, and business-aligned transformation programs that protect critical assets while enabling growth and innovation.
