Dr. Cathy Lesesne is a Specialist Executive and leads Deloitte's Evaluation and Research for Action Center of Excellence. She has more than 25 years of experience leading evaluation and research initiatives for health, educational, and social programs. Cathy has held leadership roles on rigorous evaluations and applied research projects supporting a wide range of federal grant programs. In her previous roles as Vice President in public health at ICF and as a senior scientist for 11 years at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Cathy has provided scientific and senior management across a wide range of topics including: Chronic disease prevention, adolescent health, tobacco prevention, implementation science, among others. She has over 50 peer-reviewed publications and is a member of the American Evaluation Association. She holds a PhD and MA in community psychology from Georgia State University and an MPH in health administration from the University of South Carolina.
