Carl leads Deloitte Tax LLP’s credits and incentives practice: Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (Gi3) Tax Services. He has more than 15 years of experience dedicated to assisting companies with evaluating their credits and incentives profile for global, federal, and state business tax incentives related to research & development, sustainability initiatives, employment activities, and capital investments & real estate. Carl serves businesses in many industries, including consumer, energy, industrial products, construction, financial services, and life sciences. He has extensive experience working with the IRS to defend credit claims during exam and developing methodologies to align with company accounting data and projects. Carl is a CPA in the state of Georgia and received his BS at Illinois State University and MBA at DePaul University.
