Barton Bishop

Dr. Barton Bishop is a Managing Director in Deloitte Consulting Services. Specifically, he provides professional services in the Regulatory, Risk, and Forensic offering portfolio with an emphasis on Enterprise Operations Risk and Program Integrity (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) in the Government and Public Services Healthcare marketplace. During clinical practice, Dr. Bishop focused on assisting and educating the clinicians in his practice on proper billing, coding, and documenting techniques. He brings this practical and real-life expertise to his payer and provider clients in the Federal and State marketplaces. He serves as the Medicaid Program Integrity leader and has led multiple State Medicaid Program Integrity projects, including for the States of Iowa, Florida, Colorado, Tennessee, and Indiana.
