Anita is a managing director in the Costa Mesa, CA office of Deloitte Tax LLP, where she advises businesses in a variety of industries to help them navigate indirect and direct tax matters nationwide. In addition to her client service responsibilities, she serves as the US Property Tax Practice leader. This practice provides services that help clients as they navigate real estate and personal property tax appeals, compliance, tax bill processing, and mergers & acquisitions. In this role, she has overall responsibility for strategy, operations, marketplace, and talent matters occurring throughout the country.
Anita has more than 25 years’ experience serving a broad client base of complex, multinational, multistate C-corps (public and privately held), S-corps and partnerships in a wide range of industries. Transactional analysis includes analysis of corporate acquisition/disposition transactions, restructuring and consulting for property, income, franchise and sales and use taxes. From an industry perspective, Anita’s clients include a broad variety, including healthcare, manufacturing, financial institutions, oil/gas, transportation and more.
Anita is a frequent speaker on various property tax topics, most recently including hot topics and trends in property tax, and the intersection of credits and incentives with property tax. Anita earned her BSBA in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from the University of Arkansas and her Master of Taxation from the University of Denver.
