Alys Seamans is an associate vice president of Security Engineering within Deloitte’s Cyber Defense and Resilience practice. She brings deep experience designing and advancing insider threat programs, User and Entity Behavioral Analytics (UEBA), artificial intelligence, and risk modeling for public sector organizations. Alys helps clients strengthen insider threat prevention, detection, response, and recovery by integrating training and communications, employee and contractor lifecycle management, and technical controls into a holistic program. She has led the development of advanced insider threat detection capabilities across multiple platforms for organizations with large, dispersed workforces, helping them turn fragmented user activity data into clearer behavioral insight and more actionable investigations. Her work enables stronger oversight, more effective response, and better protection of critical assets while balancing privacy, operational constraints, and program sustainability.
