Akhilesh Bhangepatil is a Cyber Operate leader at Deloitte Consulting Services, where he helps organizations build and manage cybersecurity capabilities across complex enterprise and industrial environments. He brings broad experience across cybersecurity operations, secure architecture, incident response, threat and vulnerability management, identity and access management, governance, risk and compliance, and cloud security.

Akhilesh has led enterprise cybersecurity operations and service delivery for global organizations, overseeing multidisciplinary teams across SOC, threat detection and response, vulnerability management, IAM, GRC, cloud security, and incident response. He has deep experience helping clients strengthen cyber program maturity, operational resilience, and regulatory readiness across industries such as life sciences and health care, oil and gas, power and utilities, manufacturing, and government.

Akhilesh also supports the advancement of the profession through his involvement in industry standards initiatives, including ISA 99 Automation Security Standards and the IEC 62443 Standards Joint Taskforce. He holds several certifications, including CISSP, GICSP, GCIP, GRID, and CISA.
