Home Energy Rebate Programs

The funding provided by the Home Owners Managing Energy Savings (HOMES) and Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR)—collectively known as the home energy rebates programs—amounts to a once-in-a-generation opportunity for State Energy Offices (SEOs) to transform their states' communities, workforces, and existing digital systems for the clean energy transition while also supporting decarbonization goals.

The federal government has authorized hundreds of billions of dollars to encourage the shift to a new energy mix. State and local governments can direct these investments in ways that accelerate private sector participation and foster innovation.
