Karl D. Williams

Karl has over 20 years’ experience delivering risk, controls and assurance services. Karl leads Deloitte’s Internal Audit (IA) proposition in the UK, including the evolution and innovation of our IA services and the adoption of digital technologies comprising analytics, risk sensing, risk mapping, action tracking, controls self-assessment and results visualisation. Over the last 10 years, he has supported organisations to establish and transform IA functions, helping them to achieve greater impact and provide greater insights on the full breadth of risks being faced. Karl has led the delivery of services for a range of complex and diverse clients comprising multi-site operations, complex supply chains, multi-year capital programmes, transformation projects and reviews of cyber, IT and digital activities. Karl has a reputation for delivering consistently high quality work and for developing strong, enduring senior relationships with his clients that span multiple years.

Karl works with clients across the FTSE100, FTSE250 as well as privately owned organisations and government departments within the technology, aerospace, engineering and industrials, and energy and resources market sectors.
