Simon is a Chartered Surveyor and a Construction and Infrastructure Project Review Team Lead with over 25 years of experience in Construction Programme Management, with the last 10 years working directly on assurance of infrastructure and capital projects including programme delivery in major developments, infrastructure and capital projects including transport nuclear, decommissioning and aviation sector.
Largely operating in the public sector, nuclear and transport sector specialising in the review, assurance, audit, and performance improvement of schedule, cost, probabilistic risk analysis and controls in complex Construction and Infrastructure-enabled Programmes and Major Projects.
He has experience in integrated assurance implementation, controls assessment, commercial assurance, cost, risk and schedule reviews plus contract readiness reviews; governance processes reviews and compliance with them and project benchmarking, relating to complex high hazard and secure environments. Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills, including managing high risk forensic reviews on major capital programmes to assess their true status throughout their lifecycle.
