Scott John Bailey

Scott is a Director in Deloitte’s Ethics & Regulatory Compliance team, with a focus on the impact of Artificial Intelligence regulation.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Scott spent 14 years working in the UK Government, for the last eight years in senior tech and telecoms policy and strategy roles. These include developing the UK Government’s first national 5G strategy; developing and delivering the Government’s strategy on telecoms diversification; acting as Chief of Staff to three UK Digital Secretaries; and as the Prime Minister’s Deputy Representative for the inaugural AI Safety Summit that the UK hosted at Bletchley Park in November 2023.
