Neil provides technical, operational and financial advice to international mining companies.
He’s worked in the industry for more than 20 years, and his technical experience spans the full mining and metals value chain including research, mineral exploration, resource development, feasibility studies, operations, beneficiation, mineral resource and reserve estimation, technical reporting and mine closure.
Neil has also been the main technical and valuations adviser on numerous large, global mining M&A and restructuring transactions (combined value of ~USD7bn in last 5 years). As well as having broad experience in risk management, compliance, governance and corporate finance.
Neil’s worked on projects involving gold, platinum, chromite, copper, colbalt, nickel, diamonds, iron ore, rare earth minerals, lithium, industrial minerals and aggregates, coal and uranium. And
internationally across Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Chile and United States.
Neil has an MSc (Geol) from the University of Cape Town.
