Mike has been a Director with Deloitte for three years. Based in Deloitte’s Guernsey office, He is the head of finance for the Channel Islands practice and reports to the financial services audit executives.
Mike qualified as a chartered accountant in South Africa in 2003 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also a member of the Guernsey Society of Chartered and Certified Accountants.
Mike has over 12 years’ experience in offshore financial services and a proven track record of working on large key accounts, including multi-jurisdictional investment management audits, across a broad range of alternative asset classes. These include hedge funds, private equity, real estate and forestry assets, as well as other clients within the finance sector in general.
Mike is responsible for key clients in the private equity, real estate and insurance sectors and has extensive knowledge of company reporting and corporate governance in the UK and Guernsey, as well as significant experience in UK GAAP and IFRS.
