Tell us about your career to date

I’m proud to be a Deloitte lifer. I joined the graduate scheme in 2012. Since then, I have spent the vast majority of my time at Deloitte in the Transaction Services team based in London, working primarily with private equity clients. I love working alongside smart and motivating teams, both internally and externally, on fast paced transactions – I feel privileged that I can experience this every day in the Transaction Services team.

What does being a Partner mean to you?

I’m incredibly proud to be a Partner at Deloitte – something I have been working towards since the first day of the graduate scheme. Being a Partner means that you can have an entrepreneurial spirit supported by both the powerhouse of the Deloitte brand and our fantastic talent at every level.

What will you do differently?

Cross-border M&A is becoming an increasing feature of our day-to-day work. To bring the best of Deloitte to my client I need to marry deep relationships, subject matter expertise and local in-country knowledge. Collaborating with different teams and countries will be a real focus area for me.

Also, throughout my career I have benefitted from the support of mentorship from the partner group, and that’s something I’m determined to pass on to my team.

What one piece of advice do you have for those aspiring to move into a senior leadership role.

Be really focussed on building your brand and decide what it is about you that you’d like clients to remember.
