Chris is the lead tax director in Deloitte’s Pensions advisory group. He specialises in the provision of tax advice to pension schemes, employers and to a range of investors and investment managers on the establishment of tax efficient investment and real estate structures.
He works with a diverse range of pension schemes both in the private, public and supranational sectors including a range of London Boroughs and County Councils, financial institutions, asset managers and international organisations.
This specialism is complemented by Chris’s strong experience advising real estate investors and funds on tax efficient structures both in the UK and internationally.
Chris has significant experience on pensions tax issues in M&A transactions and in providing innovative solutions in the pensions industry including advising multinationals and custodians on pension pooling vehicles. He is a market expert in asset backed funding having led a large number of structure implementations to help companies address the funding of pension scheme deficits in an efficient manner.
