In recent years, the easy availability of sustainable funds in retail markets and the increasing amount of money flowing into these funds have made greenwashing a hot topic in the investment management sector. Regulators in the UK and EU are clearly aware of the potential for greenwashing in this industry and are attempting to tackle it through a range of regulatory initiatives. In this episode of Regulated Radio, Scott Martin is joined by Deloitte’s ESG in investment management experts Jessica Hodges and Stuart Royden-Turner to discuss the key greenwashing challenges facing the industry at the moment, and in particular the role of ESG data in this story.
