We invite you to take part in the second edition of the Hospital AI Challenge, aimed at identifying the most innovative projects that use artificial intelligence (AI) to improve the functioning of healthcare facilities and enhance the quality of patient care. Healthcare institutions from across the EU are welcome to submit their project ideas in the field of cardiology.
Submitted projects will be assessed comprehensively – both in terms of innovation and their practical impact on the healthcare system.
The jury for this year’s edition will soon be announced and will include recognized medical experts as well as leaders in modern technologies. This guarantees a reliable and multi-dimensional evaluation of all applications.
In the first edition of the Hospital AI Challenge, projects covering more than 200 healthcare facilities were submitted – a clear proof of the tremendous potential of AI solutions in the health sector. Join this year’s edition and show how technology can transform medicine for the better!
The goal of the competition is to select the most interesting projects that, with the help of artificial intelligence, support the development of healthcare institutions and improve the quality of patient care.
The competition is open to all public and private hospitals as well as other healthcare facilities operating in Poland and the European Union. To participate, you must fill out the application form, complete the task described in the regulations (available below), and then submit the complete application.
Justify the need to introduce generative artificial intelligence technologies into the daily practice of a medical facility – from systems that support patients or staff, to innovative solutions that help improve or speed up the work results of the organizational unit covered by the solution, using the criteria described in the table below.
Implementation of an innovative technology in the hospital that improves work efficiency and/or patient care. The award includes the development, implementation, and maintenance of the solution for a period of one year.
In the first edition of the “Hospital AI Challenge”, projects were submitted that covered more than 200 medical facilities. From these, one winner and two honorable mentions were selected.
The competition winner was: The Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology in Warsaw, for a groundbreaking project using artificial intelligence to improve public procurement processes, which can significantly increase efficiency in medical facilities.
