Health Advisory - Patient and Whānau-Centred Care | Director - Consulting

“Nau te rourou, naku te rourou, ka ora te manuhiri”

With your food basket and my food basket, the people will thrive.

People are at the heart of everything I do. With my passions for healthcare and social justice, my focus is to bring human factors and equity into all aspects of health and care.

As a health psychologist and co-design specialist, I work with organisations and whanau and draw on my own lived experience, to create insights for system redesign and delivery. I have a flexible, creative approach that is highly patient and whānau-centred - working by the motto ‘nothing for me, without me’. Assembling the best team, with the best skills, to get the best outcomes for our clients is the pinnacle of creating great work, and something I abide by. I have worked in the public and private healthcare sector in clinical and innovation roles for the past 20 years and enjoy leading our teams to success.

I was born in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland to Australian/New Zealand parents of Irish and Welsh descent. I am a dedicated Auntie and dog-mum and like nothing more than spending time in the bush, preferably swimming near a waterfall.
