I am Director leading AI Strategy and Transformation in Banking and Capital Markets at Deloitte Netherlands, where I work closely with our global network to bring expertise and best practices to our banking clients. I have 20 years of experience in Data, Analytics, and Technology, including several years in the global banking industry before joining Deloitte in 2020. My career began long before "data" and "AI" were boardroom conversations. That early grounding in what it actually takes to turn raw numbers into decisions has shaped how I approach the work today, starting with the foundation, not the hype. Since then, I've spent two decades helping organizations move from data ambition to data reality: building data strategies, modernizing technology estates, and leading operating model transformations for financial services clients across the Netherlands and beyond. Today, that work centers on AI, helping banks move from experimentation to enterprise-scale adoption, safely and responsibly. I believe the best AI strategy work doesn't start with "what can this technology do." It starts with a clear-eyed view of an organization's data foundation, its regulatory obligations, and a deliberate answer to what should stay human. That's the conversation I have with clients every day, and it's the one I find most worth having.
