Global Infrastructure Magazine

Infrastructure reimagined. Our third edition discovers how leaders are embracing innovation and digital transformation to deliver and transform infrastructure for good.

Infrastructure is about much more than bricks and mortar; it’s about improving people’s everyday lives, everywhere. Deloitte’s Global Infrastructure magazine explores a wide variety of topics that influence the future of the industry.

Our third edition explores how the infrastructure industry is transforming the world and society for the better - with a particular focus on embedding innovation and adopting modern technologies. By better, we mean infrastructure that is making our planet a better place to live, work and play for our citizens and communities. Infrastructure that is accessible, inclusive and constantly adapting to our changing environment.

We have featured some amazing stories and interviewed some of the best minds across the globe, including:

  • The team behind a ground-breaking innovation: A sophisticated grid digital twin suite in Belgium, designed to accelerate the energy transition toward net-zero
  • The Chair of Building Information Modelling (BIM), the public sector beacon for digital transformation on what it takes to inspire best practice
  • A deep dive into how global miner, Vale, is reimagining its operations to transform the metal supply chain and reduce carbon emissions
  • Unpacking how Jakarta successfully transitioned its water supply from private to public sector to better Services its citizens

You can download each of these feature articles in the download bar above.

I am delighted to see the variety and depth of examples from across the globe - ranging from inspirational insights through to in-depth client interviews that unpack what it takes to truly transform entire sectors, Industry, City and states. There is no doubt we are seeing some common traits: bold ambitions, a desire to collaborate deeply and widely, an acute sense of responsibility to the environment, societies and the economy and most of all, leaning in to challenges and finding new ways to convert these into exciting opportunities
