People are at the heart of the British Army, delivering operations across the world and resilience here in the UK. How do you build a 21st century approach to managing careers and talent, reflecting the pace of change in the work and the workforce?

Working with the CHRO, the team proposed a plan with four parallel—and nested—workstreams: HR transformation (i.e., reengineering the company’s HR operating model), supported by shifts in technology and job architecture, with change management initiatives to knit it all together.

While developing the programme, Google realised it needed help in developing the courses to make sure they offered the precise skills employers needed. In the era of digital transformation, where innovation moves at lightning speed, the knowledge gap is constantly widening, which meant Google needed experts to give their curriculum not just integrity but relevance. That’s why the company turned to Deloitte for help.

In pursuit of these goals, Shake Shack embarked on its digital transformation journey in 2018. Company leaders chose the integrated Workday platform, including Human Capital Management, Financial Management, and Payroll. They also selected Deloitte to implement the new system as well as to introduce leading practises, automate manual processes and help the organisation to make the most of the real-time data afforded by a unified, cloud-based platform.
