Malta, 21 October 2025 — Deloitte Malta is proud to announce the renewal of its collaboration with The Malta Dementia Society, a dedicated non-governmental and not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting individuals living with dementia, their families, friends and carers.
The Malta Dementia Society plays a vital role in uniting healthcare professionals and interested members of the community to enhance understanding of dementia and raise public awareness about this condition. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, the Society strives to improve the quality of life for those affected by dementia across Malta.
In line with this mission, The Malta Dementia Society recently marked World Alzheimer’s Day with its annual ‘Walk for Dementia’ event, which brought together participants from all walks of life to show solidarity and support for people living with dementia and their families. Earlier this month, Deloitte Malta welcomed the Malta Dementia Society for an insightful awareness session designed to enhance staff understanding of dementia and its effects on individuals, families, and communities.

“We are honoured to continue our partnership with The Malta Dementia Society,” said Caroline Cassar Reynaud, Deloitte Malta Foundation Lead. “At Deloitte, we believe in supporting initiatives that foster community wellbeing and inclusivity. Dementia affects many families in Malta, and through this collaboration, we aim to contribute to greater awareness, understanding, and support for those impacted by this condition.”
“The Malta Dementia Society is dedicated to promoting the highest standards of care, education, and support for individuals living with dementia, as well as their caregivers and families across the Maltese Islands. To deliver our wide range of services, we rely heavily on financial support from private organisations. We are grateful for Deloitte’s support, which enables us to continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by dementia and their loved ones,” said Anne Cuschieri, Public Relations Officer, Malta Dementia Society.
