Bernard joined Deloitte in 1999 and currently serves as Head of Tax for the International Tax Corporate Department. Bernard has extensive experience implementing and managing tax-efficient international structures, specializing in the areas of global reorganizations, intellectual property migration and management, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Private Equity investments. He has led a significant number of complex cross-border transactions involving listed corporations and targets. He has implemented group reorganizations in varied industries with substantial foreign jurisdiction considerations. His expertise covers global structuring transactions from inception to implementation and through to exit. He understands the needs of multinational clients in offering proactive support in a dynamic market. He has extensive experience in assisting U.S. companies to successfully plan, develop and implement tax efficient strategies for their worldwide operations. Jacquou Martin, Partner, Investment Management Services, has an extensive experience in dealing with the investment fund industry. Those last years, he developed an expertise in Pan-European Tax Reporting and assisted different fund administrators in the parameterisation of fund accounting systems for tax figures. Today, he is responsible for the Tax Reporting department dealing with the compilation and the coordination of the certification for each Pan-European annual tax reporting for funds.

Christian joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2013, and currently serves as Partner in Cross Border-Tax. Christian has extensive experience in international tax. His specific experience includes advising on structuring of international operations, foreign acquisitions & divestitures, treaty related taxation, portfolio structuring for Hedge/PEI Fund clients, setting up MLP structures & other cross-border planning. Christian’s clients are in various sectors incl. oil & gas, renewable energy, drilling & exploration, financial services, insurance & real estate. Christian is a member of AICPA. Since 2013 he is a lecturer at the University of Hamburg and is giving various trainings in the US and Luxembourg. He has been speaking on various conferences in the US and Europe e.g. ALFI Frankfurt and New York. He holds a Master in Taxation from University of Miami an a Bachelor in International Business Administration from University of Brighton. He is a CPA for Texas and Florida. German native speaker and fluent in English.

Eric has 20 years of experience as a tax consultant. He is based in Luxembourg and worked in other financial centres such as London and Paris. Eric leads the Financial Services Industry (FSI) Tax practice at Deloitte Luxembourg where he assists large Financial Institutional on a series of tax related topics including corporate taxation, transfer pricing, operational taxes (FATCA/CRS/DAC6/AML Tax), etc. Eric also leads the Withholding Tax Services at Deloitte. He is one of the Conducting Officers of Deloitte Solutions, a regulated company established in Luxembourg offering operate services such as Tax Reclaims, Client Tax Reporting, FATCA/CRS/QI reporting, EMIR/MiFIR reporting, KYC as a Service etc. Eric holds a Master in Business Law from the Université of Lille (France). He is fluent in French and English.

Dany joined Deloitte in 2005 and currently serves as Tax partner. He leads our M&A tax practice and is responsible for the Digital Transformation of our tax practice. Dany has over 15 years of experience in international tax, with 3 years spent in the New York office of our U.S. Member Firm. He advises asset managers on a wide variety of international tax issues, including mergers and acquisitions, tax due diligence, global tax optimization, cross-border withholding taxes, tax compliance and assistance with tax considerations affecting regulated and non-regulated investment funds.

Yves joined Deloitte in 2004, and currently serves as Partner for the International Tax sector focusing on M&A. Yves has extensive experience in international tax planning for multinational corporations (MNCs), funds and assets managers in alternative investments strategies (including Real Estate, Infrastructure, etc.) based in Europe and in Asia Pacific. Yves spent three years in Hong Kong (leader of the Luxembourg AP ICE desk) advising Asia Pacific companies on performing efficient outbound and inbound cross-border tax planning overseas including M&A acquisitions, assistance with structuring acquisitions, repatriation of income planning, leveraging acquisition vehicles and tax structuring of alternative investment funds. He is a frequent public speaker promoting the use of Luxembourg in international tax planning and as a fund location. He holds a Master in Tax Law from HE Liège and a Luxembourg tax diploma. Also he is a Graduate in Business Administration with major in France. He is fluent in French and English.
