We request you to go through the note below that sets out the terms and conditions (T&C) on which we will consider your candidature.
Your Acceptance
By proceeding further with the Recruitment Process, you agree to be bound by all of these T&C right from the time of your first interaction with Deloitte in relation to your pursuit of a possible career with Deloitte even if that happens to have been prior to the date you have first had access to these T&C. Please, therefore, carefully go through these T&C before proceeding further in the recruitment process. Should you not accept any part of these T&C, please do not continue participating in the Recruitment Process.

Terms & Conditions
In these T&C, unless opposed to the context, Deloitte or we (and its grammatical variations) refers to the Deloitte legal entity with which you have expressed an interest in pursuing a role or any of their representatives; and Recruitment Process refers to the process commencing your first interaction with Deloitte in relation to a potential role with Deloitte and until you officially join Deloitte in the role that you have competed for. These T&C are in addition to, and not in lieu of, any other terms and conditions. To the extent of any conflict between these T&C and any other terms and conditions, these T&C will prevail.
- No Offer Until Formal Offer is Issued; Offer, etc. Are Revocable…
The following applies notwithstanding anything to the contrary specified anywhere else:
- By Deloitte inviting you for interviews and/or tests, or by your participating in the Recruitment Process, Deloitte has not made (and does not make) any offer of employment or engagement to you.
- Deloitte reserves to itself all rights and the sole discretion with regard to your candidature – including, without limitation, all decisions regarding recruitment, selection, and offer of employment or engagement. Deloitte may at anytime abandon the Recruitment Process with respect to you. In such a case, Deloitte is not obliged to give you any reason or feedback for its decision.
- Deloitte reserves the right and the sole discretion at all times (including, even after any formal offer is issued and until you join Deloitte and, where applicable, successfully complete your probation period), to modify, withdraw, or revoke any communication, offer, or opportunity at any stage of the Recruitment Process with or without prior notice for any reason. Deloitte is not obliged to inform you of the reasons for any such modification, withdrawal or revocation. You acknowledge that Deloitte incurs no obligation or liability of any kind for its decisions made in this regard and you agree to be bound by any such decision. If you have received any communication or offer, that does not constitute a guarantee of employment or further consideration. All offers of employment (and their acceptance) are contingent upon the fulfilment of eligibility criteria, successful completion of background verification, and compliance with these T&C as well as continued compliance with Deloitte policies and the terms and conditions of your employment or engagement.
- You understand that NO ONE other than Deloitte is authorised to issue any offer for a role with Deloitte. Deloitte does not expect any candidate to pay any money or something of value to anyone in connection with the Recruitment Process and that you have not paid any money or something of value to anyone in connection with the Recruitment Process.
- Normally, you will appear for interview and/or tests in the city where the role is expected to be based. Unless Deloitte has expressly agreed in writing in each case, no costs of commuting, travel, boarding and/or lodging will be paid or reimbursed to you.
Our Expectations From You (Including those of Integrity and Good Faith)
- You agree and commit to meet each of our expectations from you as are set out below:
- The entire Recruitment Process is conditioned on Deloitte’s expectation, and your commitment, that you are participating in the Recruitment Process in good faith. This includes, without limitation, that your identity is who you say you are; your educational and professional qualifications and experience are as you have stated to us are truthful and honest (and not misleading); you have not hidden or withheld any material information or fact (or provided any partial information to Deloitte with regard to any material information concerning you as a prospective candidate); that may have a reasonable bearing on Deloitte’s decision to engage you in the role that you are competing for; you are not impersonating or appearing for anyone else in the Recruitment Process; you have not used any unethical, dishonest or any other wrongful means in any part of the Recruitment Process including, in particular, the interview and/or tests – you assure and represent to us that you have answered and/or completed all interview tests and processes yourself without the help of any other person or means.
- You will not record whether on audio and/or video any part of the interview process or any other part of the Recruitment Process.
- You confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements for the role that you are competing for and will promptly notify Deloitte in writing, should this position change prior to your joining Deloitte (in cases where you are offered a role with Deloitte).
- You confirm that all information and data provided (including your resume, educational qualifications, work experience, and any additional details requested during the selection process) by the applicant are true, accurate, and complete. If it is discovered at any stage (including after you join Deloitte in a role) that you had provided false, misleading, or incomplete information, or omitted material facts, your candidacy will be immediately disqualified and if already in a role with Deloitte, Deloitte may forthwith at its discretion terminate your employment or engagement for cause – and any such action shall be without prejudice to any other right, recourse or remedy that Deloitte may have.
- If the Recruitment Process is on with respect to a role that you are competing for, you may not, during the pendency of such Recruitment Process, apply for other roles in Deloitte, without the express prior written consent of an authorised representative of Deloitte. Regardless, if we become aware of such a case, Deloitte reserves the right to at any time abort the Recruitment Process for ALL roles that you are competing for.
- Deloitte reserves the right to request additional documentation or information at any stage of the process (e.g., salary slips, certifications, or references). Failure to provide these within the stipulated timeframe may result in your application being closed without further notice to you. Further, any requests for subsequent interview rounds, assessments, or technical tests or request for additional information by Deloitte does not constitute an offer of employment. Deloitte reserves the right to discontinue the selection process for any applicant at any time without being obliged to provide any explanation or reason. If an applicant is not selected for a role, Deloitte is not obligated to provide specific feedback regarding the decision.
Confidentiality
- All information shared by or on your behalf during the Recruitment Process, including applicant details and communications, is subject to Deloitte’s confidentiality and privacy practices.
- You expressly understand that all information shared by Deloitte with you in the course of the Recruitment Process (including, for the avoidance of doubt, information about Deloitte and the role, the interview questions, interview methods, the tests used, etc.) shall be considered confidential (Confidential Information) and you agree to the following terms with respect to each such item of Confidential Information:
- You shall not use any part of the Confidential Information for any purpose other than your consideration of a role with Deloitte. Without limiting the foregoing, you shall not share any part of such Confidential Information with any third party including, without limitation, with your current, former or prospective employer.
- You shall take reasonable steps to keep the Confidential Information from unauthorised access and/or use including reasonable technological and other means. You shall not share any Confidential Information with any third party through any means including, without limitation, by posting any Confidential Information on any cloud, site or any other portal or means such that any third party could access, view and/or use any part of the Confidential Information.
- If you are required by a court of law or legally binding order of a regulator or government authority to share any Confidential Information, you shall promptly notify Deloitte (unless legally prevented from doing so) as soon as you become aware of such a requirement. If Deloitte has not been able to obtain legal waiver precluding you from disclosing the Confidential Information, you may share it only as strictly necessary to comply with the order or requirement.
- The obligation of confidentiality set out above shall apply in perpetuity.
Privacy
- By participating in any part of the Recruitment Process, you expressly consent to Deloitte (and any other Deloitte entity that is part of the Deloitte network) collecting, storing, and processing the personal data submitted for recruitment purposes, as necessary and authorise Deloitte and each relevant Deloitte entity within the Deloitte network to verify your details through third-party background check agencies, former employers, and educational institutions as per the privacy notice . Deloitte and any other Deloitte entity that is part of the Deloitte network may retain your profile for future opportunities unless the relevant applicant requests its removal.
Other Terms
- You acknowledge that Deloitte may not be able to give, and does not commit to giving, individual feedback to every applicant. Applicants may contact the recruiter mentioned in the communication or write to the designated email address for any queries or feedback regarding their application status.
- Any offer of employment issued by Deloitte is provisional and contingent upon several factors. We reserve the right to revoke an offer without liability (a) where the applicant fails to pass background checks, and related screenings, or evaluations (as applicable), (b) due to discovery of discrepancies in the application or interview statements of the applicant, (c) due to applicant’s failure to submit required onboarding documents or signed agreements by the specified deadlines, (d) due to applicant’s failure to report for duty on the agreed-upon start date without prior written approval, or (e) due to sudden changes in business requirements, financial constraints, budget reallocations, or the cancellation/delay of the specific project for which applicant was being hired.
