Seeing complex business problems solved with the right insights, the right methodologies, and the right implementation has always been a delight to watch. I have been fortunate to be part of and lead teams that were able to deliver impactful solutions.

What excites you the most about working with data and AI?

Every data and AI problem is a combination of multiple interconnected problems. What I love about this role is that it allows me to think of different problems at hand and plan for different solutions whilst also thinking of the impact these solutions could deliver and the possible challenges that may come during the implementation stage.

Alongside problem-solving and numerical skills, the depth of discussions required for such end-to-end executions is a constant source of inspiration.

Describe an interesting project that you have worked on.

I had the opportunity to lead an engagement for a large FMCG manufacturing setup, where we were tasked with delivering manufacturing team recommendations for different production lines. The objective was to ensure that the most skilled teams were assigned the most critical tasks, ultimately driving enhanced productivity and minimising manufacturing defects. The overall solution required us to be stationed on-site for a period of time and study different team-building constraints and scenarios whilst gathering invaluable insights from different manufacturing managers. The final solution automated the recommendations, delivering them three times a day, via factory-owned apps directly to line managers. We also implemented a monitoring system to track the execution of these recommendations and their impact on overall productivity. It was an incredibly enriching experience and one I will never forget.
