While working as a content marketer, I was introduced to various use cases of AI and ML across sectors. During my research, I was amazed to know how analytics was transforming the face of the world, whether it was from machines translating contracts in banks to robot bees pollinating crops on farms. I was astounded by the amount of data generated every hour of the day and the unexplored potential of data.
At Deloitte, I got an opportunity to tune data with business analytics strategies adopted by industries. I started re-imagining businesses through data and AI and focussed on a range of projects, including data management and establishing analytics CoE to implementing AI/ML use cases with defined outcomes.
As I continue my journey at Deloitte, I realise that data is the crucial component to deciding the success of analytics-based projects across sectors, and that’s the most interesting aspect of it above all.
The answer here is simple and straight—the result of AI in the human hand making an impact excites me the most.
Frankly, I am always surprised by the infinite potential of data and AI. It is interesting to see businesses adopting intelligent models to draw insights and recommendations, make strategic decisions, and undertake AI innovations.
The freshness of applications that keep evolving and the inception of new technologies inspire me, pushing me to learn and explore more.
All my projects were quite interesting. But to state one, I would choose the recent project I worked on. It was on Redflag Reporting Solution for a global medical device manufacturer.
Here, we flagged the potentially risky transactions and sent automated alerts to various stakeholders across the APAC region. The solution empowered users to take appropriate actions for each red flag over emails and power automation screens. The process of providing a view of flagged transactions only to specific users at the regional level and then rolling up the super-access to the higher stakeholders was quite fascinating.
The solution enabled the client to find all red flags in one integrated place and act upon them timely.
