At Deloitte, one of our Shared Values is to 'Lead the Way'. We're committed to creating opportunity and leading the way to a more sustainable world. To enable this commitment, our employees are encouraged to volunteer throughout all stages of their careers.

We partner with leading educational organisations and charities across Ireland to provide year-round skills-based, community volunteering opportunities for our people.  We also support our senior leaders in giving their time and skills by joining charity boards.

At Deloitte Ireland we have three anchor fundraisers per year:

  • Daffodil Day in support of the Irish Cancer Society
  • Shine a Light Night with Focus Ireland
  • Saint Vincent De Paul Christmas Appeal

We also support our Inclusion Networks to make annual donations to causes aligned to their network priorities.

Deloitte have partnered with Rethink Ireland to create the €500,000 People’s Impact Fund which support projects that aim to promote equity of opportunity and access to employment, by developing the employability skills of young adults at a disadvantage and/or facilitating their employment.

Pro bono investments are part of Deloitte's commitment to leverage the collective intelligence and ambition of our people to help non-profit organisations develop innovative solutions to address their most critical issues and help drive transformational social outcomes.

If you are a charity that is interested in discussing potential pro bono work, please register interest here.

We want our people to feel empowered to make an impact that matters in their communities, whether that be through a Deloitte volunteering programme, pro bono work or a personal cause.

All Deloitte are asked to give a minimum 8 hours volunteering time per year to our Firm programmes.

Our people can also request 2 days volunteering leave per year for personal volunteering.

We make Firm contributions to our people’s personal fundraising efforts.

We collaborate across Deloitte member firms and sectors to create educational & skill building opportunities. Deloitte's global Social Impact ambition is to positively impact 100 million lives by 2030 (300,000 in Ireland) in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – SDG4 Quality Education and SDG8 Decent Work & Economic Growth.
